Privacy Policy

• Account details: your name, email address and password (stored only as a secure, one-way encrypted hash).
• Credit reports you upload: the files themselves and the information in them, such as account names, balances, payment history, addresses and other personal details shown on the report.
• Information you enter: credit scores, negative items, dispute letters, notes, dates and checklist progress.
• Billing information: your plan, subscription status and a Stripe customer ID. Card details are collected and stored by Stripe, not by us.
• Technical data: a login session cookie needed to keep you signed in, and basic server logs (such as time of request and errors) used to keep the app running.

• To provide the app: analyze your reports, build your repair plan, generate letters and track disputes and scores.
• To manage your account and subscription, and to process payments.
• To respond to your questions and send important service messages.
• To keep KreditFix secure, prevent abuse and fix problems.

• We do not sell your personal information or credit data.
• We do not share your credit report with lenders, advertisers or data brokers.
• We do not contact credit bureaus or creditors on your behalf.

We share information only with service providers that help us run KreditFix, and only as needed to provide it:

• Hosting, database and file storage providers that store your account data and uploaded reports.
• AI processing providers that read your uploaded report to produce the analysis you request.
• Stripe, for payments and billing.

We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect our rights or users’ safety, or as part of a sale or transfer of the business (in which case this policy will continue to apply).

When you click a link to an outside site or offer, that site’s own privacy policy applies.

Uploaded reports are stored privately and are only accessible to your signed-in account. Data travels over encrypted connections (HTTPS), and passwords are hashed. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information and limit access to what is necessary.

We keep your information while your account is active. You can delete an uploaded credit report at any time from the Analyze page. If you ask us to delete your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal data, except for limited billing records we must keep for tax, accounting or legal reasons.

You can view and update much of your information directly in the app. You can also ask us to:

• give you a copy of your personal information;
• correct information that is wrong;
• delete your account and personal information.

Depending on where you live (for example, California under the CCPA/CPRA), you may have additional rights. We will not treat you differently for using them. To make a request, email us from the address on your account.

KreditFix is for adults 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.

We may update this Privacy Policy. We will change the effective date above and, for significant changes, let you know in the app or by email.
